Serenity branding finalised design

Homepage design

I’ve been putting a lot of hours into your website and I’ve made some progress! I’ve produced a visual of what the finished website could look like. It is much easier to edit an image than it is to edit code so it will be more efficient for me to do it like this.

Last time I spoke to Sheila she said the previous design was too busy, so I’ve come up with a new idea based around her motif of the butterfly that represents her brand identity. The “heaven” image I took from her Facebook was eye catching but I think it drew the attention away from “Serenity-Ashburton”.

The word “heaven” was too big and became too much of the focus. I’ve made the new “Serenity” header look nice with glowing effects and added some sparkles to liven it up.
The new colour scheme reflects her original motif colors- blue,  I also feel that silver and purple compliment your color pallete well.

In addition to this, I feel that it will be much better to swap the “about me” page with the “blog” which was originally going to be on the homepage. I think this makes more sense because the first thing people will see when they log onto the website is “what is serenity?” and “what do you do?”
I've moved the retail products on a separate page because I think because I think it will become to complicated and obtrusive if there are links both on the header and on the sidebar. It might make it look too busy and confuse people.

Client Feedback

I presented this to the client and she was happy and we made small changes like the re-positioning of the butterfly logo.

In this visualisation, I've amended the sample text to reflect the textual content that will be on the front page of the website.
