My Lecturer David suggested me to make a timeline where each play title will be displayed as text on the screen. And when the user scrolls on the scrollbar, the javascript would make the play titles that corresponds to the currently selected date to become enlarged/change font color.
I've used some built in javascript plugins for tagcloud and a slider. This what I've been able to design so far:
I also used "fancybox" plugin to create a lightbox effect, I edited the code to stylise the design to my liking from the default settings.
